| We saw the Britins for the first time at an '07 performance in Ladysmith. The guy who plays George Harrison (Mike is his name, I think) took time with my son after the show to show him the *real* Rickenbacker & Gretsch guitars he plays and even let my son noodle around on the Ludwig black pearl drum set since my son's fave Beatle is Ringo. Mike also let us "try on" the guitars to have our photos taken with him and the instruments. Unfortunately, those photos disappeared off my camera's disk when I did something wrong in trying to save them onto the computer with some incompatible soft or hardware. (Still not sure what I did.) The Britins let us have our photo taken with them too as a group. They esp. liked my genuine blue suede shoes (clogs actually). |
